What Is the Partisan Disruptor FRT Trigger?
The Partisan Disruptor is a 3-position forced reset trigger for AR-15 that uses the bolt carrier group's rearward travel to mechanically reset the trigger after every shot. Instead of waiting for the shooter to manually release the trigger to achieve reset, the BCG pushes the trigger forward during its rearward stroke — completing the reset before the bolt even returns to battery.
The result: a shooter maintaining rearward finger pressure fires at a cyclic rate limited only by the BCG cycle speed — approximately 1,150 RPM in FRT mode. Every shot still requires a separate, deliberate trigger pull. The Partisan Disruptor FRT is not a machine gun, fires one round per trigger function, and is federally legal under the NFA following Garland v. Cargill and the May 2025 DOJ settlement.
Unlike other drop-in FRT triggers for AR-15, the Partisan Disruptor uses a true cassette architecture — the entire trigger assembly (hammer, trigger, disconnector, springs, reset mechanism) is pre-assembled inside the cassette housing. I ordered this thinking I would beat the next stupid ban. So the trigger arrived very fast, just a few days, and I didn't pay for the extra shipping charge for getting it faster. Wasn't needed in my case. This was so easy to install a blind person could do it. Then I took it to the range and I expected it not to work like it was described. OMG did my face light up! Burned up two magazines in less than 10 seconds I think. And is still safe, and it retains the semi auto, or one shot per pull capability. I'm buying more for my other AR's now.

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I gave it a try. The installation video sucks because I couldn't see what he was doing but I ended up getting it. You have to learn how to run it as there's a little bit of a trick to it but once you do that it's fun to use.

First time using the Disruptor drop-in trigger I couldn't get it to work, even after swapping in an H2 buffer. This H3 heavy-duty spring combo finally did the trick. Rifle is an older S&W Sport II. Suppressor is SilencerCo Velos 556. Very happy with the result and looking forward to adding Disruptor FRT and this buffer/spring to at least two more rifles.

Super easy to install, runs smooth and without failure in a completely stock $500 American tactical AR, there are plenty of videos showing how to install it. Would and am buying this trigger kit again, and pairing it with a lighter spring kit, there isn’t any weird quirks with it, I simply installed it with some oil and my factory pins and springs and it worked without polishing or any other modifications. Functioned fantastically. I absolutely recommend a heavier buffer. I have a Ruger AR lower and it fit perfectly. Really really enjoys the metal mags. Had loading issues, disappeared when I swapped to metal mags. Selector switch works slightly better than original. I used a extra spring I had laying around and got an H3 buffer. Make sure you have the full auto BCG or this product will not function.

I ended up needing something slightly lighter to run the G Lever FRS, but the H2.5 is probably a good option for a suppressed build with more back pressure
Had to do a minor tweak to tappet wire but other than that it was a drop in kit. Seems to be made of quality steel. We all are now having great fun with it.
Trigger worked perfect. Only thing I had to do was get a h3 buffer (heavy) tube and it was flawless. Dumped 2 mags in a matter of seconds.

My first ARC-Fire ran like a champ! I never had a hiccup or problem, and everyone on the range stared like I was a criminal...🤣 It was the V1, and man I was happy. Then all of a sudden... I watched a video that showcased the ARC-Fire V2, with a 0-45°-90° ambi selector, and I had to have one. After all, it was going in my HK MR556 A4, and it has the markings on the lower for a 0°-45° selector, and I, of course, wanted it to match. So I bought one... While visiting AS Designs website, I noticed they sold HK style selector levers for their ARC-Fire V2. So I bought some... You CANNOT go wrong with this company! Their products are, in my and many others opinion, the best FRT on the market today! I am a gun technician at Larry's Pistol and Pawn, here in Huntsville, Alabama. we have the greatest new and used gun inventory in North East Alabama. I've only had the opportunity to shot it in semi, and it works great, also the safety position works as well. I will have to get back with you on FRT mode. I am running it in a Aero Precision M4E1 with a Lantac full auto BCG. also I have a geissele H1, H2 and H3 to see which buffer functions the best. Once i get it to run frt mode, I will provide you with a picture of the rifle.

Unfortunately couldn’t use the giggle switch at that time because of buffer problems, but the trigger is phenomenal. Even the semi-auto is smooth. Update: full-semi auto runs incredible with h3 buffer will post a video in the near future.

Exceeded two expectations - first, the takedown tool (free with Partisan Disruptor order) worked great and fit exactly like it should. Second - the trigger and safety were perfect. I have a very early model Springfield Saint AR lower on this rifle and, after needing to grind the shelf down on another for a standard super safety, expected to do the same here. But no, it popped right in and worked beautifully both suppressed and unsuppressed. Well done. As for the included tool, it was so handy and each side fits the pins so perfectly I’m not sure why no one did it before. Nicely done, y’all.

Install was super simple. In the middle of Fine tuning it. Definitely needs alittle break in period. Works great Single Fire, but forced reset it fires like 10 rounds then chambers a round but doesn’t go back far enough to set the trigger. So I either have to much weight or to stiff of a spring, I’m putting the factory buffer and spring back in so it should work perfectly then

Just took it to the range for the first time and it worked perfectly! It is sensitive enough to put good 3-4 round bursts on target without losing sight picture. Of course, the rifle climbs if the proper stance and foot work is not used but that is going to happen anyway, simply from recoil. It fires very quickly and with no loading or jamming of any kind. I have only taken it to the range once but have already put close to 700 rounds down range in that visit. I love this and will buy more! Totally recommend with no hesitations. Was easy to install!

Easy install and appears to be made well. I like the safety selector design. I haven’t shot it yet.

Easy drop in.had odin h frt buffer and flat spring with adjustable gas block.wouldnt reset.put h1 buffer back in and quick adjustment with gas block and ran smooth on enhanced selector position,surprised. Odin frt buffer to heavy to go back far enough to reset. Changed back out with stealth h2 buffer. Needed to remove disruptor trigger to install but after in and checks it ran even better. Very satisfied. Quite,no spring bounce.

Would get the full kit next time you will in fact need everything for you’re gun to shoot better I just installed the trigger only and it’ll miss fire a little just re chamber it and keep going

Installed one on my bro ar preforms awsome. Installed one on my Psa Jakl forgetting that it has the AK piston on it. I saw they have a slip kit by AS Design. Will the slip kit work with the Partisan Disrupter?

Great product. Great price. Super easy to install. It took less than 5 minutes and it fits perfectly. Smooth trigger pull. And it is very well made. I haven’t shot it yet due to Stage 1 fire restrictions here in Arizona. Can’t wait to get it out to the range. I look forward to getting more of these in the near future.
