Standard mil-spec trigger and hammer pins walk. Under sustained firing — especially in FRT builds, active reset setups, or any high-cyclic-rate application — those pins migrate sideways and cause malfunctions. The Trigger Supply AR-15 Anti-Walk Pins lock your trigger and hammer pins in place with a set screw on each end, eliminating pin walk entirely.

And unlike most anti-walk pin sets, these come with two Allen wrenches included — one for each end — so you can tighten both set screws simultaneously without hunting for a second tool. The correct installation method, included in the box.

The Two-Wrench Difference

Every anti-walk pin has a set screw on the left side and another on the right side. To lock the pin correctly you need to tighten both simultaneously — otherwise you risk uneven pressure that can cause the pin to bind or allow micro-movement on the loose side. Most anti-walk pin sets ship without any tools and leave you to figure that out yourself.

These ship with two Allen wrenches — one for each end. Put one wrench on each side and tighten together. Proper installation, no improvisation required.

If you are running an FRT, Super Safety, ARC-Fire, or any active reset trigger system in your AR-15, anti-walk pins are not optional — they are a required component. The AS Designs MP5 lowers also require anti-walk pins. Make sure these are in your build before you run it.

What are anti-walk pins and why do I need them?
Anti-walk pins replace your standard mil-spec trigger and hammer pins and use a set screw on each end to lock the pin in place inside the lower receiver. Standard pins can migrate sideways — called pin walk — under sustained firing, especially in higher-cyclic-rate builds. Anti-walk pins eliminate that movement entirely, preventing malfunctions and lower damage.

Anti-walk pins address the more common failure mode — lateral migration — and are the correct choice for FRT and active reset builds. Note: the AS Designs MP5 lower specifically requires anti-walk pins and is not compatible with anti-rotation pins.
