The Geissele-Ready Kabuto FRT Package pairs our Kabuto FRT with metal ambi selector and this first-of-its-kind Geissele SSA insert in one matched set — so the Super Semi-Automatic that's been the gold standard for combat and duty shooting for two decades finally runs under a forced reset trigger with full operational smoothness and integrity. Your Geissele stays in the rifle. Your Kabuto runs like a dream on top of it. And you're one of the first 50 people on earth to run this setup.
Geissele trigger NOT included. This package is for shooters who already own a Geissele SSA — you get the complete Kabuto FRT kit plus the SSA insert that mates them. Running mil-spec? The standard Kabuto is all you need. Running a LaRue MBT? The LaRue Cut Kabuto is machined for you.

Nobody pulls a Geissele out of a rifle to run a reset device — the SSA is the trigger generations of duty rifles were built around. Until now, SSA owners had exactly one option: leave the Geissele in the safe. We thought that was stupid, so we designed the part that ends the choice: the insert mates the Kabuto to the SSA's frame geometry, the Kabuto handles the forced reset, and in Semi your trigger is still every bit the Geissele you paid for. The only Kabuto configuration ever purpose-built for the SSA — because we're the ones who built it.

Is a Geissele trigger included in this package?
No — this package is for shooters who already own a Geissele SSA. You receive the complete Kabuto FRT metal ambi kit plus the custom SSA insert that pairs them. The SSA itself comes from Geissele or your favorite dealer.
Has anyone made this before?
No — this insert is a first. It was designed by us, machined for us, and this listing is the first time it has ever been offered for sale by anyone. The first production run is 50 units.
I already own a Kabuto — can I just get the insert?
Yes — the Geissele SSA insert is available on its own for $29.99 and drops into your existing Kabuto setup.
Does it work with the SSA-E or other Geissele triggers?
The insert is machined for the SSA specifically. Other Geissele models share family geometry but aren't what it was cut for — contact us before ordering and we'll tell you straight.
What else do I need to run it?
The standard Kabuto hardware rules: an M16-profile BCG and an H2 or H3 non-solid buffer. Our Trigger Supply M16 BCG and buffer collection cover both.
Is this legal?
Forced reset triggers are semi-automatic — one round per function of the trigger — and legal in most states with restrictions in some. Check Are FRT Triggers Legal? before ordering.

I ordered this thinking I would beat the next stupid ban. So the trigger arrived very fast, just a few days, and I didn't pay for the extra shipping charge for getting it faster. Wasn't needed in my case. This was so easy to install a blind person could do it. Then I took it to the range and I expected it not to work like it was described. OMG did my face light up! Burned up two magazines in less than 10 seconds I think. And is still safe, and it retains the semi auto, or one shot per pull capability. I'm buying more for my other AR's now.
Second one i bought now and still flawless operation. Would recommend this product to anyone who likes to go through ammo.

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I gave it a try. The installation video sucks because I couldn't see what he was doing but I ended up getting it. You have to learn how to run it as there's a little bit of a trick to it but once you do that it's fun to use.

First time using the Disruptor drop-in trigger I couldn't get it to work, even after swapping in an H2 buffer. This H3 heavy-duty spring combo finally did the trick. Rifle is an older S&W Sport II. Suppressor is SilencerCo Velos 556. Very happy with the result and looking forward to adding Disruptor FRT and this buffer/spring to at least two more rifles.

Worked amazingly. Was everything I hoped it would be. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to purchase firearms accessories. Had a couple small order issues in the past and they were handled very quickly and expertly. As a result I try to give them as much of my business as possible.
Super easy to install, runs smooth and without failure in a completely stock $500 American tactical AR, there are plenty of videos showing how to install it. Would and am buying this trigger kit again, and pairing it with a lighter spring kit, there isn’t any weird quirks with it, I simply installed it with some oil and my factory pins and springs and it worked without polishing or any other modifications. Super happy with it!

Functioned fantastically. I absolutely recommend a heavier buffer. I have a Ruger AR lower and it fit perfectly. Really really enjoys the metal mags. Had loading issues, disappeared when I swapped to metal mags. Selector switch works slightly better than original. I used a extra spring I had laying around and got an H3 buffer. Make sure you have the full auto BCG or this product will not function.

I ended up needing something slightly lighter to run the G Lever FRS, but the H2.5 is probably a good option for a suppressed build with more back pressure
Had to do a minor tweak to tappet wire but other than that it was a drop in kit. Seems to be made of quality steel. We all are now having great fun with it.
Trigger worked perfect. Only thing I had to do was get a h3 buffer (heavy) tube and it was flawless. Dumped 2 mags in a matter of seconds.
Works flawless when you have a h3 buffer and im going to buy 5 more 😆 🤣

My first ARC-Fire ran like a champ! I never had a hiccup or problem, and everyone on the range stared like I was a criminal...🤣 It was the V1, and man I was happy. Then all of a sudden... I watched a video that showcased the ARC-Fire V2, with a 0-45°-90° ambi selector, and I had to have one. After all, it was going in my HK MR556 A4, and it has the markings on the lower for a 0°-45° selector, and I, of course, wanted it to match. So I bought one... While visiting AS Designs website, I noticed they sold HK style selector levers for their ARC-Fire V2. So I bought some... You CANNOT go wrong with this company! Their products are, in my and many others opinion, the best FRT on the market today! Just go to YouTube and pull up a 'Juicy Media' video, and he demonstrates a bunch of different brands of FRT and explains the pros/cons of the others, and explains why he prefers AS Designs! 5 MF'ing ☆'s~!!!
