Here is the perfect balance between and H2 AR-15 Buffer and an H3 AR-15 Buffer. When using super safeties and FRT‘s, it is very common to need a heavier buffer in your firearm. Well, we believe with the 2.5 you have the perfect balance because the H2 is 4.8 ounces and the H3 is 5.4 ounces therefore splitting the difference right in the middle of 5.1 with a solid construction has shown to be a very effective weight. Especially for pistol carbines.
THIS MAY/MAY NOT work great for your set up, the heavier solid non reciprocating buffers like this are meant more for pistols and not rifles. It's a great buffer for the buy but it is not the same as reciprocating H2 or H3
This heavy carbine collapsible stock buffer assembly provides smoother function and helps to noticeably reduce felt recoil.

I ended up needing something slightly lighter to run the G Lever FRS, but the H2.5 is probably a good option for a suppressed build with more back pressure
I did not receive the h2.5 and they upgraded my order to the h3 customer service was great would recommend takedown tools to all my friends. Thanks again
Well my purchase was great turned out I bought the wrong items. The return process “not so great” I also bought a kabuto assembly but returning it has been a challenge. It’s been going on 2 weeks and I haven’t received a return authorization to return yet but they did authorize the buffer.
I don’t know if it’s any good the part I bought to go with it is trash! So did I really need this? Hmmm I think not. If takedown tools makes it right I’ll change my review. I bought 2 full set ups neither work at all.
The item is excellent, but the shipping time was absolutely atrocious.
I ordered the Buffer on July 31 and never received it until August 13.
USPS has turned into the worst Service in the country.

At first I was a little set back with the shipping of my purchase. But a representive explained to me the situation. After a short time. The product was sent to me. So thank you for listening to my concern and quick reaction.
Its great for fine tuning a gun, but without deadblow it causes bolt bounce on many occasions. Without a good spring or dead-blow BGC, this may cause more issues for fast firing.
