Overview
The NSPEC Innovations Kubota is a compact, fully assembled drop-in forced reset trigger built for AR-15 pocket-cut lowers. Steel internals paired with carbon fiber nylon components deliver a strong, lightweight setup at a price point that makes forced reset trigger performance accessible to every AR-15 builder. Fully assembled and ready to install out of the box.
Made in Texas by NSPEC Innovations — the same manufacturer behind the NSPEC 10/22 FRT. At $139.99 it is one of the most affordable forced reset triggers on the market without sacrificing the core FRT function that makes these triggers so sought after.

Install Notes
The Kubota is a true drop-in system for most AR-15 pocket-cut lowers. A few things to know before you install:
- If the unit won't seat fully, the right-side reset prong may be contacting the disconnector — gently bend it outward with pliers for clearance. This design feature prevents DIAS-style modification.
- If you experience binding, material can be carefully removed from the actuator to resolve it.
- Slight fitment adjustments may be required depending on your specific lower — this is normal for any forced reset trigger.
Break-In
The Kubota ships as raw parts. Before live fire, cycle and dry-fire the unit 10–20 times to smooth operation. You can also lightly polish the lever bottom if preferred. This break-in process is standard for any new forced reset trigger and ensures reliable function from your first range session.
Trigger Technique
Hold the trigger right at the break point — the same technique used with any other AR-15 forced reset trigger. Do not over-stage, short-stroke, or hold the trigger fully rearward between shots. The FRT reset requires the trigger to return forward after each cycle. Let the trigger do its job.
