The M&P 2.0 Flipper is a 3-position assisted reset backplate that puts safe, semi, and forced reset on one knurled selector for the Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0. Every part is fully CNC machined in the USA from S136 and 4140 steel. No SLS printing, no printed 316 stainless, just solid machined steel that fits right and keeps fitting right.
Whether you run a full size, compact, or subcompact Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm, or any other M&P 2.0 caliber, and want real selectable modes instead of a single-mode device, this is the one built for it.
Three True Positions
A dedicated safe position on the selector.
Standard semi-auto with a normal trigger reset, for precision and everyday shooting.
The slide's cycle resets the trigger for faster follow-up shots. One round per trigger function.
Why It's the Upgrade
- Full CNC, not printed. Most M&P 2.0 reset devices are SLS printed in 316 stainless. This one is machined from S136 and 4140 steel for tighter tolerances, a cleaner finish, and the same fit on every unit.
- Adjustable on the fly. The real knurled selector moves between safe, semi, and forced reset with your thumb. No tools, no disassembly, and positive grip so you find each position by feel.
- American ingenuity and manufacturing. Designed and machined 100% in the USA.
How It Works
This is an assisted reset backplate. As the slide comes forward, it pushes on your trigger bar, which pushes your trigger forward to reset. Once the slide passes the trigger bar, it releases it and you pull the trigger back normally for the next shot. It never touches the disconnector. It only assists the forward reset of your trigger.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the three positions?
Safe, semi, and forced reset. Every position fires one round per trigger function.
How is this different from printed M&P 2.0 reset triggers?
It's fully CNC machined from S136 and 4140 steel in the USA instead of SLS printed in 316 stainless, for tighter tolerances and consistent fit.
What does adjustable mean?
Rotate the knurled selector to safe, semi, or forced reset at any time. No tools needed.
How does it work?
As the slide comes forward, the backplate pushes the trigger bar, which pushes your trigger forward to reset. It then releases the trigger bar so you pull normally. It never touches the disconnector.
Does it work with a hinged trigger?
No. With the factory hinged trigger it will not work well or may not work at all. Use a flat or non-hinged trigger.
Which M&P 2.0 models does it fit?
All M&P 2.0 calibers and models, including full size, compact, and subcompact. It does not fit the original M&P (non-2.0) or the Shield.
Are pistol reset triggers legal?
State laws vary and change. Check our legality guide before you order.
