The Ambi Disruptor + KAK K-SPEC Combo is the first FRT kit that doesn't need a buffer upgrade. Two components. The ambidextrous Partisan Disruptor and the KAK Industry K-SPEC BCG — the first bolt carrier group ever engineered specifically for forced reset triggers. Why There's No Buffer in This Combo
Every FRT combo on the market ships with a heavy buffer because every FRT needs one — the extra weight slows the bolt enough for the reset mechanism to engage. Get the weight wrong and the trigger doesn't reset. FRT builders spend hours chasing buffer weight, spring rate, and gas.
The KAK K-SPEC does that job inside the BCG. A patented floating weight in the carrier tail creates a dead-blow effect that kills bolt bounce mechanically — the exact thing an H2 or H3 buffer is trying to do from the other end. With the K-SPEC, your stock 3oz carbine buffer already provides correct timing. Patent US 12,474,132 B2.

Install — 3 Steps
- Drop the Ambi Disruptor cassette into your mil-spec lower and insert the anti-walk pins
- Install the KAK K-SPEC BCG in your upper
- Keep your standard 3oz carbine buffer. Function check. Done.
If your rifle already has an H2 or H3, you can run it — but you don't need it. If you experience over-buffering, drop to the standard buffer.
Why Ambi
- Left or right hand selector operation — bilateral lever, no modification. Switch hands, switch shoulders, the selector is where your thumb expects it
- Same Disruptor internals — nothing changes about how the trigger fires or resets. The ambi selector is the only difference from the standard Disruptor

Why doesn't this combo include a buffer?
Because it doesn't need one. The KAK K-SPEC's patented floating dead-blow weight eliminates bolt bounce inside the BCG itself — the job an H2 or H3 buffer normally does for an FRT. Your standard 3oz carbine buffer already provides the correct timing. Two components instead of three. Nothing to tune.
What is the Ambi Disruptor?
The Triggered Company's ambidextrous Partisan Disruptor — same patented FRT cassette with a bilateral selector for left or right hand operation. Same function, same construction, same cyclic rate. Black or Green.
Has the KAK K-SPEC been tested with the Disruptor?
KAK tested the K-SPEC with the Hoffman Super Safety, AS Designs ARC-Fire, Atrius FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. The Disruptor uses the same forced reset principle as the Rare Breed — KAK states similarly designed systems should work. Individual rifles may need fine-tuning, but the K-SPEC removes buffer weight from the equation.
What if my rifle already has a heavier buffer?
You can run the K-SPEC with an H2 or H3 — but you don't need to. It's designed for the standard 3oz buffer. If you experience over-buffering (short-stroking, failure to lock back), drop to the standard buffer.
Is the Ambi Disruptor legal?

I ordered this thinking I would beat the next stupid ban. So the trigger arrived very fast, just a few days, and I didn't pay for the extra shipping charge for getting it faster. Wasn't needed in my case. This was so easy to install a blind person could do it. Then I took it to the range and I expected it not to work like it was described. OMG did my face light up! Burned up two magazines in less than 10 seconds I think. And is still safe, and it retains the semi auto, or one shot per pull capability. I'm buying more for my other AR's now.
Second one i bought now and still flawless operation. Would recommend this product to anyone who likes to go through ammo.

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I gave it a try. The installation video sucks because I couldn't see what he was doing but I ended up getting it. You have to learn how to run it as there's a little bit of a trick to it but once you do that it's fun to use.

First time using the Disruptor drop-in trigger I couldn't get it to work, even after swapping in an H2 buffer. This H3 heavy-duty spring combo finally did the trick. Rifle is an older S&W Sport II. Suppressor is SilencerCo Velos 556. Very happy with the result and looking forward to adding Disruptor FRT and this buffer/spring to at least two more rifles.

Worked amazingly. Was everything I hoped it would be. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to purchase firearms accessories. Had a couple small order issues in the past and they were handled very quickly and expertly. As a result I try to give them as much of my business as possible.
Super easy to install, runs smooth and without failure in a completely stock $500 American tactical AR, there are plenty of videos showing how to install it. Would and am buying this trigger kit again, and pairing it with a lighter spring kit, there isn’t any weird quirks with it, I simply installed it with some oil and my factory pins and springs and it worked without polishing or any other modifications. Super happy with it!

Functioned fantastically. I absolutely recommend a heavier buffer. I have a Ruger AR lower and it fit perfectly. Really really enjoys the metal mags. Had loading issues, disappeared when I swapped to metal mags. Selector switch works slightly better than original. I used a extra spring I had laying around and got an H3 buffer. Make sure you have the full auto BCG or this product will not function.

I ended up needing something slightly lighter to run the G Lever FRS, but the H2.5 is probably a good option for a suppressed build with more back pressure
Had to do a minor tweak to tappet wire but other than that it was a drop in kit. Seems to be made of quality steel. We all are now having great fun with it.
Trigger worked perfect. Only thing I had to do was get a h3 buffer (heavy) tube and it was flawless. Dumped 2 mags in a matter of seconds.

My first ARC-Fire ran like a champ! I never had a hiccup or problem, and everyone on the range stared like I was a criminal...🤣 It was the V1, and man I was happy. Then all of a sudden... I watched a video that showcased the ARC-Fire V2, with a 0-45°-90° ambi selector, and I had to have one. After all, it was going in my HK MR556 A4, and it has the markings on the lower for a 0°-45° selector, and I, of course, wanted it to match. So I bought one... While visiting AS Designs website, I noticed they sold HK style selector levers for their ARC-Fire V2. So I bought some... You CANNOT go wrong with this company! Their products are, in my and many others opinion, the best FRT on the market today!
