Wrangeler AK-47 Drop-In Trigger Installation

Watch the Wrangeler from The Triggered Company (formerly Partisan Triggers) go into an AK-47. The Wrangeler is the first truly drop-in AK platform assisted reset trigger, built as a self-contained cassette, so installation looks very different from fitting a loose-parts AK FRT kit.

The Wrangeler uses patent-pending Next Generation Assisted Reset Technology. Its Forward Reset Bias indexes off the back of the bolt carrier through the Reset Initiated Out-of-battery Safety (RIOS) bar, which is why it is built to match the geometry of specific AK receivers.

Before You Install

Confirm your rifle. The AK 7.62 Wrangeler is confirmed in PSA / Soviet Arms Gen 3 to 5 and Sabre, Zastava M70 and ZPAP92, Century Arms WASR, Arsenal SAM7, Riley Defense AK103, Pioneer Arms USA Sporter, Saiga, Maadi Sporter and WBP Jack. See the full list on the Wrangeler product page.
Use the included selector. The Wrangeler only works with the selector that comes in the box. It keeps the traditional Soviet manual of arms.
Plan a short break-in. Many PSA / Soviet Arms rifles run best after a few magazines of live fire.
Not on the list? Your rifle may need tuning. The Triggered Company plans to release tuning kits with RIOS bars and springs. When in doubt, have a qualified gunsmith install it.
Keep it clean and well lubed for the best performance.

The Wrangeler is a semi-automatic trigger: one round per trigger pull. Shipping restrictions apply to The Triggered Company triggers in some states. Read our FRT trigger legality guide before ordering.
