Payment Options

We accept major credit and debit cards, and we accept cashier's checks and money orders on every order we take. No product exclusions, no order minimum, no extra fee. If you would rather not run a firearms parts purchase through a card processor, you do not have to.

Method Accepted Ships
Credit / debit card Yes On our normal fulfillment schedule
Money order Yes, any order On arrival of payment
Cashier's check Yes, any order On arrival of payment

Why We Offer Manual Payment

Some customers also simply prefer not to route a firearms accessory purchase across a card. That is a legitimate preference and we are not interested in arguing with it or making people jump through hoops over it.

Manual payment takes the middleman out entirely. You mail us a cashier's check or a money order, we ship your parts. Nobody in between is reviewing whether your purchase is acceptable.

How to Pay by Money Order or Cashier's Check

Step What Happens
1 Build your cart and check out normally. At the payment step, choose the manual payment option instead of entering card details.
2 Your order is created as pending. Your pricing and your inventory are both locked in at that moment. You receive an email with your order number, the exact total, and payment instructions.
3 Make it payable to Instructions in payment for the exact order total, write your order number on the payment, and mail it to the business address .
4 We mark the order paid on arrival and it ships on our normal schedule. You get tracking exactly like any other order.

Write your order number on the payment. It is the one thing that separates an order shipping the day it arrives from an order sitting in a stack while we figure out whose envelope it is. Order number on the money order, or in the memo line of the cashier's check.

Your Price and Your Stock Are Both Locked

Two things people reasonably worry about with mail payment, both handled:

Pricing. Locked at the moment you place the order, not the moment your envelope arrives. Order during a sale and you pay the sale price even if your money order lands after the promotion closes. Same applies to manufacturer MAP holidays on brands like The Triggered Company Disruptor line — the price is set when you order.

Inventory. Placing the order reserves your stock. An item cannot sell out from under you while your payment is in transit. This matters most on FRTs, which move in waves and go out of stock quickly when they do.

A Few Practical Notes

Send the exact total. Including shipping and any tax shown on your order confirmation. Short payments have to be resolved before anything ships.

Cashier's check or money order, not a personal check. Both of those clear immediately, so your parts go out on arrival rather than waiting on a bank hold.

Consider tracking your envelope. Not required, but for a larger order it is worth the couple of dollars for your own peace of mind.

Hold window. Pending manual payment orders are held for INSERT_HOLD_WINDOW. If your payment is going to run past that, email us at INSERT_SUPPORT_EMAIL before the hold expires and we will work with you.

Payment Method Does Not Change the Law

Paying by money order does not change what can ship to your address. Forced reset triggers remain subject to ongoing litigation and state-level restrictions, and the rules are not the same everywhere. Before ordering an FRT or Super Safety, read our continuously updated FRT legality guide and check the state-by-state breakdown. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

Payment Questions

Do you accept money orders?

Yes. ARTakedownTool.com accepts money orders on any order, for any product we carry. Choose the manual payment option at checkout instead of entering card details, and mail your payment using the instructions in your order email.

Do you accept cashier's checks?

Yes. Cashier's checks are accepted on any order through the same manual payment process as money orders. Both clear immediately on arrival, which means your order ships as soon as we receive it.

Can I buy AR-15 parts without using a credit card?

Yes. Manual payment by cashier's check or money order removes the card processor from the transaction entirely. There is no third party reviewing or approving your purchase of triggers, FRTs, or any other component we sell.

How long does a manual payment order take to ship?

Add mail transit time to our normal fulfillment schedule. Your order ships once your payment arrives, typically within one business day of us receiving it. Writing your order number on the payment is the single biggest thing that prevents delays.

How long will you hold my order while my payment is in the mail?

We hold pending manual payment orders for INSERT_HOLD_WINDOW from the date the order is placed. If your payment will arrive outside that window, email us before the hold expires and we will work with you.

Do sale prices apply to money order and cashier's check payments?

Yes. Pricing is locked at the moment you place the order, not the moment your payment arrives. If you order during a promotion, you pay the promotional price even if your payment lands after it ends.

What happens if an item sells out before my payment arrives?

Placing the order reserves your inventory. Stock is held against your pending order for the duration of the payment window, so an item cannot sell out from under you while your money order is in transit.
